Description

An arboreal magnopsid
It uses its very flexible limbs to climb large trees and its strong jaw to hold on to branches.
Two species of squid from the same world as this guy [link]
The arachnoteuthis is a medium sized squid whose tentacles turned into spider-like appendages
The teuthavis has only got two solid tentacles which are used like a catapult to launch itself off of cliffs. The wings evolved from its ancestor’s fin and they are folded upwards while resting (depicted on the bottom)
Some teuthavian species can have a wingspan of four meters or more

How did you come up with the anatomy for the arachnoteuthis? It looks so amazingly bizzare and derived. Also where can I learn more about these terrestrial squids of yours?
